Special Events

At our studio, we host many special events, such as Saturday socials. These events are a special time when you can dress up and let yourself go. Strut your stuff while you dance with different partners and make new friends.

One of the special events includes delighting participants to wager on their favorite sports. New Jersey launched sports betting in 2018 and soon grew into one of the strongest markets in the US. You will come across legal sportsbooks in both race tracks and casinos, and even through online apps. Perhaps there is no other American state that is so actively involved in sports betting than New Jersey. You read articles on New Jersey betting apps comparison to get a better insight of app features and functionalities. While sports betting may be rampant in this state, it is also true that it has had to fight really hard to get here.

Had it not been for governors and legislators in this state, the sports betting revival would not have come about. New Jersey has witnessed a decade-long fight against professional sports leagues and NCAA. NJ had been advocating discontinuing the ban on betting outside the state of Nevada. Finally, in May 2018, the ban on sports betting was lifted when the US Supreme Court stated the law as unconstitutional. This is when New Jersey made a beeline to legalize sports betting. The first wager was made in June 2018 at the Monmouth Park Racetrack. Punters must ensure the authenticity of the sites before placing wagers. Online sports betting is now available in several countries, including Austria. Check the Neue Wettanbieter Österreich 2023 blog to identify the most recent sports betting providers in Austria if you like to wager on Austrian websites.

NJ is often looked upon as the capital for US sports betting. It accepts more wagers than any other state, even Nevada. DraftKings was the first sportsbook to kick off the betting activities in this state and was followed soon by many other betting apps.
